About us

Key Circle is a historic Birmingham ‘roundabout’ at the top of Red Mountain. The intersection of the south side of downtown Birmingham and “over the mountain” suburban areas that were populated as Birmingham grew and people moved out of the increasingly commercial city center.

  We are a gathering place where people come together to share company and conversation. We believe in the importance of neighborhood, sense of place, reverence for history, community, and local color. We are classic and timeless, but also new and exciting. We are steeped in tradition, yet always trying new things and creating. We respect the classics while pushing ourselves to reinvent and pioneer.

At Key Circle Commons, we respect the seasons. We revere the true craft of the cocktail as much as the craft of the victual. We build and prioritize relationships with local farmers, artisans, and producers.
